took approx an hour getting to here from Barra, walking up the hills, passing lots of churches and Placas. even though a Sunday the historical centro had a lot more people, mainly tourists and had on an small market. you often get ribbons from vendors etc for Bahia and the Bohem church, which you knot 3 times for luck and often leave tied to the gate, and make a wish. cross from it was a house you could visit which Michael Jackson had visited.
