FASHION: the questions when designing

colour, price?

front back sides? straps? same different?

material. material colour, shape, texture, price, weight, flow, statment

different markets, european market, asian, american?

give different variations of colour. which looks better? find an audience? Facebook? shading patone colours.

follow trends or set your own?

whats your signature/statment/ ethos?

sizes? who is the clients. regular sizes. bigger, petite, tall?

different coloured parts - straps, pockets, 3d, sides, zips, interior, double layers??

popular base colours that never go out of fashion
age range?
office, everyday, party, shopping bag?
idea of laser cut images? people, animals, female styles

drawing over current designs to see about shape and size changes? or added pocket?

mens sports material. strong. stretchy. use of pulled in cinched bag.

pattern
shape, form
width

long
short

interesting fabric ideas:
Lining. Pleated and sewn into. Cut on bias and singed edges. Can create reptile like effect.

Outside pockets or inside.
Overall appearance vs practicality.
Size effected? Shape effected. Design effected.

does a certain design mean it becomes harder to make, easier, cheaper more expensive??

How can it be simplified. Easier = less time = less money = overall profit

Where is opening and closing. How is is fastening. Is this practical, can it support weight?

Durability. Material. Colour, how it's put together.

Thread strength and security. Flexible, breathable?

Material weight/density and mobility.

How easy/practical to use to wear to move.

What's it like on? Fit? Appearance?

ordinary/ unique/ couture/ simple/ comfortable/ practical

lead pages: its not just about having a shop, you need a website to advertise, to sell, to get customer notice and trust. constant call to actions, please try please call, please give me your opinions on xxxx everyone likes to give an opinion to share to recommend, its basic human nature, sharing and getting a bargain. to have something good quality, different, special

5 elements of business:

1. leads/ ads/hits/views [blogs, websites, ebay, images, facebook] mailing lists. video blogs on youtube? (settings on youtube, moneyisation for some cash on youtube vids)  needs to have CLEAR SALES TUNNEL.
next step pricing etc rather than just go buy this.
>>>consistency in blogs etc eg weekly or bi-monthly gives you credibility. makes you more reliable for customers.
NETWORK MARKETING (iMovie editor)

2.conversion to customers attract them to sales. money or action to sales  (image of myself to create loyalty and trust.) consultations. emails/phonecalls etc. [my services, my story, my design ethos] use of basket or ideas/design basket so viewers know what they like. colour choice, material choice, listed? images? or charts in store.
DEVELOP A CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP.
Q+A section, appointments only and occasional shows or trunk shows.

3.avg spend.  budgeting. show the high end, low end and what they want to spend. what they can have, and whats better. what they need, what they would like, sure or unsure. do they have ideas. does it fit into my style my ethos? need to ask you a few questions to be able to answer that, each design etc is down to the style marterial time etc, we have a basic idea for some but to have a proper idea or final price a proper constitution.

4.no.of transactions/turnover (when or if they will be back, will they recommend?) use of real life story's, real images? taster sessions. trunk shows with sales? wedding fairs. advertisements. high end and low end pricing. way of payments. high end shows professionalism, but needs to be worth it. need to have some high end designs. plus lower range for different customers.

5.margins = profit

basically just: grow a pair of lady balls = success

GO FOR IT!!
